Happy Dog
Tripe And Chicken
9lb - 31lb
Tripe is the delicacy of the dog world! It is easily digested, full of nutrients and many dogs who are suffering from digestive or other ailments do VERY well on tripe! The downside to tripe, its stinks to our noses, especially when fresh (dogs, however, think it smells fantastic!). If you’re a little sensitive to the smell, just feed it frozen.
Happy Dogs Raw Pet Food is a locally sourced, high-quality raw food that uses human consumption grade meats and vegetables!
We test our food for salmonella and E. coli regularly and we are proud to say that Happy Dogs Raw Food has tested Negative for both, every single time.
All of our food is pre-portioned into convenient snap-apart 1/4lb squares, which allows for easy preparation and clean-up!
During development it was tested at the University of Oregon’s Food Science labs, and now we repeatedly test it regularly by local independent food laboratories to ensure consistency and obtain the scientific analysis of our food.
All of the Happy Dogs Complete Nutrition Blends were specially formulated by a certified canine nutritionist to have everything in it that your dog needs to live a healthy life.

Every dog is different! Just as humans don’t all eat the same amount, neither do dogs.
What we look at instead is age and activity level, and then make adjustments if any need to be made.
Generally you should start by giving your dog a percentage of their ideal body weight.
Adult dogs age 4+ yrs = 1.5% of body weight
Younger, active adult dogs, age 1.5 – 4 yrs = 2.0% of body weight
Teen Dogs, 1 – 1.5 yrs old = 2.5% of body weight
Puppies up to 1 yr old= 3.0+% of body weight
Example:
Dog’s Ideal Weight x % according to age, activity level = Total food weight per day 50 lbs x 0.02 = 1.0 lbs per day
If after a couple of weeks your dog has gained or lost more weight than you would like on the raw food then you can increase or decrease the food a tablespoon at a time until they maintain the weight you would like. Also, no one says that you have to feed your dog the exact same amount every day! You can give your dog more food on an active day and less food on a lazy day.
